MasseTool Bauprofile app for iPhone and iPad

The MassTool App calculates the weight of structural shapes. The calculation of component mass considers structural shape, material, and component length.

You can define many different cross sections like rectangle, pipe, U-shape, I-shape, T-shape, and a Hollow-Box shape.

Standardized rolled steel sections are included.

Density values of many different kinds of wood (spruce, oak, pine, …), metals (aluminium, steel, copper, …), and different types of concrete (light, normal, heavy) are available.

The MassTool App distinguishes between densities of oven-dry, air-dry and green wood.

Selection of imperial and SI units.

You can save single shapes in a table and get the total mass of all considered shapes.

It is possible to send the shape list including single shape details and total mass via e-mail.

The app supports engineers, architects, constructors, builders, carriers, and safety officers during their daily work at the office, on the building site, and on the road. The app can be applied to the tendering process, design of buildings or components, transport preparation, and transport safety.

The app is optimized for iPhone 3, 4, 4S display and for the new large iPhone 5 and 6 Retina displays. The app works with the iPad as well.
